Good technique — I liked how you looked at stats at Alexa, and others to guage the results. You mentioned banners and ads next to your videos — can you place them next to your videos on uTube. And, can you place an ad next to a particular video at uTube (one that is getting good traffic)?

Well, the technique is not about placing banners and ads next to youtube videos. It is about using the stats youtube provides for a video, specifically the links pointing to that video from an external site and the number of clicks this specific video has received on that specific external site. It can proof you that people who visit that site have the tendency to click…

Then you visit that external site to see if it has banners or ads, if so you can contact the owner with the objective to negotiate a price to place your banner or ad on that site… Now you know that people have the tendency to click.

Make sure to use Alexa and Compete to know if the site receive enough traffic.
