Where Is The Money Made?

When it comes to Internet Marketing, in the whole sales process the most money is not made the first time a prospect sees your product. According to some Internet Marketing studies a good conversion rate on the Internet is between 2.5% and 3%, but it is not easy to reach. Most people have a 1% conversion rate and this means that the majority of people are not buying.

Then, where is the money made?

You have to focus on those people who see your product for the first time and don’t buy it. You need to capture these people’s emails and names and follow up them. In order to do this you need an autoresponder to set up your follow up messages. Auto responders automate the process of following up leads. If you don’t have one you should check out Aweber.

Many people are afraid of sending messages to their list frequently because some people unsubscribe. The only thing I can tell you is: “Who Cares.” It happens and you don’t have to worry about this, it means that they are no more interested in your product/service.

If they sing up today and you send them your first email 3 days after the sing up and the second one 3 days after the first one and so on, chances are that they don’t buy from you.

You should contact them frequently, at least every other day because people are more interested in your product/service the day they sing up, while the days are passing the interest is decreasing.

Therefore you have to contact them frequently and give them useful, high quality information and testimonials about your product. Also you put a link pointing to your salesletter, in this way they can check out your product/service.

Basically, you take pieces of your product/service and salesletter to create your follow up messages, after you send them 8 or 10 messages in the way I described above and you see they don’t respond you ask them what’s is the problem, why they don’t buy. They will tell you the reason why they don’t buy and you’ll improve your sales process.

Remember to write short messages – straight to the point – because the purpose of your message is not to sell, the purpose of your message is to get the click and make them visit your salesletter.

Now you know where the money is made, therefore if you’re having a hard time selling your product/service to your list you should try this approach, but don’t do it tomorrow, you have to start RIGHT NOW!
