Helping Blogs With Good Content But With No Readers

Today is Sunday and I always take Sundays off. On Sundays I use to watch the soccer game, and do different things offline, but some times I turn on my computer because I don’t know. ..

Today I decided to turn on my computer and stumbled upon the Chuck Westbrook’s blog where I read a post really interesting.

Basically he is trying to put together a group of bloggers that will work together in order to leverage blogs with good content but that have no visibility.

As I think it is a great idea I suggest you check the post out to get all the details.

Microblogging – How It Can Increase Your Profit

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

How Microblogging works:

It keeps others updated using short posts – usually less than 200 characters – and sometimes pictures and videos about what you are doing.

Your friends or subscribers can read your post online, request an instant message to their desktops or an SMS text message to their mobile devices. Your messages can be open to the public, or only for those who you want to get them.

You can do friends and add them to your profile just like you do with MySpace, then you can create relationships with them.

You can syndicate your RSS feeds from your blog, you can ping your feed – it notifies Search Engines that you updated.

There are different microblogging sites – Twitter.com, Pownce.com, Jaiku.com, Tumblr.com. But they have the same concept and all are free.

How do you monetize your microblogging activity?

Well, it is a kind of viral marketing because you can spread the word about what you are promoting very easy. Also, if you have a blog you can use microblogging as a supplementation to your blog, you post a brief description of your latest blog post and a link.

No matter what you are promoting, it could be cost per action (CPA), Affiliate Programs or selling your own product it works. The only thing you have to do is getting friends, posting your short description and the link poting to the page you want people to visit. It means more traffic and money.

So, if you are not microblogging you’re leaving money on the table. If you want more traffic and money start Microblogging RIGHT NOW!

Please, leave your comments and if you like this post submit it to your favorites social bookmarking sites.
