You don’t need a high end website in your initial stage but you should at least have an online presence if you ever wish to start an online business.

2. Lack of Proper Marketing:

Now, many businesses think that only by creating a website they will enable to drive traffic to their website. But the fact is that without a potentially perfect marketing campaign you cannot move an inch in the Internet. You will have to promote your website and product as aggressively as you can to drive targeted traffic towards you website.

Never underestimate the power of online marketing campaign because it is the most vital process of your online business.

3. Taking Too Many Advice:

One of the most staggering feature of online business is that you can find tons of people giving their commentary on online business. Most of these people are newbies just starting in online business and they try to cash on the emotion of people willing to make genuine income.

You can find many blogs and website that guarantee you to make huge money online within few days. You might even get tempted to invest in those ideas but beware that those sites are only trying to make a slice of money and won’t be helpful in any way to you and your entrepreneur dreams.

4. Lack of Focus and Research:

Most people starting with an online business do not have any idea on what they are going to sell on the Internet. They tend to go with the masses by promoting a product that they consider is “hot” or is “in demand”. Well, this can be a good idea but selling such a product you will be dragging yourself to huge competition and probably you will get exhausted by sheer pressure of other marketers. It is better to choose a low end niche and promote a product that you see this small group of people want and has more potential.

You may find tons of other cons in any online business too. Each niche or category has its own limitation and it’s your duty to study and understand your niche.
