I just found a great example of a Guerrilla Marketing campaign.

It is from the Mentos Gum marketing campaign, here is the Youtube video…

If you don’t know what Guerrilla marketing is here is the Wikipedia definiton:

Guerrilla marketing is an unconventional system of promotions that relies on time, energy and imagination rather than a big marketing budget. Typically, guerrilla marketing tactics are unexpected and unconventional; consumers are targeted in unexpected places, which can make the idea that’s being marketed memorable, generate buzz, and even spread virally. The term was coined and defined by Jay Conrad Levinson in his 1984 book Guerrilla Marketing. The term has since entered the popular vocabulary and marketing textbooks.

Guerilla Marketing involves unusual approaches such as intercept encounters in public places, street giveaways of products, pr stunts, any unconventional marketing intended to get maximum results from minimal resources. More innovative approaches to Guerilla marketing now utilize cutting edge mobile digital technologies to really engage the consumer and create a memorable brand experience.

Laid-Off? Here’s Your BIG Opportunity

I want to pass along something I just read.

The Wall Street Journal has an article about how people can go from making a lot of money to almost broke.

  Here’s part of the article:

“Carlos Araya used to order lobster, filet mignon and $200 bottles of red wine at the Palm Restaurant in midtown Manhattan.

Now, he seats customers at its Tribeca branch.

Mr. Araya, 38 years old, lost his job in 2007 as a crude oil trader on the New York Mercantile Exchange. After visiting dozens of headhunters with no luck, he applied in August 2008 to be a host at the Palm to support his wife, two young daughters and mortgage payments. His salary has plunged from $200,000 to $25,000.

If the financial crisis was the flood, then the Arayas are one of the families standing in the stagnant waters left behind. Some former Wall Street employees, highly trained and accustomed to comfortable salaries, are having trouble translating their specialized skills to other fields that pay well, and instead find themselves forced to accept low-wage work. Now, Mr. Araya is on the brink of losing it all and is doubtful that he will ever return to Wall Street…”

During this down economy lot of people are laid-off every single day, the unemployment rate jumped to 9.4 percent last month, the highest in more than 25 years. People who have lost their job have to face a hard situation, they have to figure out how to pay the bills.

Now most of these people are desperately looking for a new job in other to survive and support their family, it is a sad situation but there is a very easy solution.

Let me explain, in many cases these people have great skills and a vast experience in a specific field because they have done the same work for years. In other words, they are experts.

Why not to use that expertise to make a lot of money? Probably you want to know how, here it is.

You can build an Internet Business around these experiences and skills, where you teach others how to do certain things.

Believe it or not there are people who will pay you if you help them to solve a problem or to achieve something.

You just have to find these people and let them know that you can help them out. They will be more than happy to pay you for your help.

Millions of people use the Internet every single day to look for solutions to their problems. So, it is easy to localize these people if you know how.

In the case of Mr. Araya he could start an Internet Business teaching people how to trade, he has a huge experience and know how to do this.

  The article says:

“He could gauge from the roar of traders’ voices how the market was faring. He gained loyal clients, and was confident enough to engage in profane shouting matches with them on the phone.”

He could use those clients as a proof to demonstrate that he knows about this and that he can teach anyone how to trade.

I just did a research using Google keyword tool…

As you can see I used ‘how to trade’ and the average monthly search volume over the last 12-month period for this phrase is 90,500. The point is that there are many competitors, but there are ways to beat them.

It means that lots of people use Google everyday to know something about how to trade. So Mr Araya, here’s your opportunity…

  – Register a Domain Name (better if it contains trade)

  – Open a web hosting account

  – Put up a blog and write good articles about trading

  - Get an autorsponder and load it with a follow up sequence of messages

  – Put the opt-in form on the blog, give something for free (special report, teleseminar, etc) to incentive people to opt-in

  – Every time a new article is posted to the blog bookmark and ping it to get exposure and traffic

  – Create something to sell (book, set of audio, etc) and offer it to your subscribers

It doesn’t matter what your expertise is, if people need help in that specific field then you can start making money on the Internet. If you follow the steps mentioned above you’ll be well on your way to making a lot of money on the Internet.

The point is that starting and growing an Internet business is not that easy if you don’t know where to go, what to do and how to do it…

Fortunately there is a program that teaches all this Step-by-Step so that you can get your own Internet Business up and running in record time.

If you were laid-off or for any reason you need to make more money here’s your opportunity…
