In my previous post I talked about Information Product – The Best Product To Sell. Today I want to talk about how to create an information product that sells.

The first thing is finding a hungry market where you have skills and knowledge. You can’t create a product and impose it to your target market without knowing what they want and need because you’ll be throwing your time and your money away.

Once you have done this there are 7 elements that you have to keep in mind when creating your information product.

7. What’s the right price for that product

6. What’s the first step they have to take and what are the next logical steps

5. Where they are now and what they need to learn and do to get where they want to be

4. How you’ll help your customers to consume the product – your support

3. How they want the information product packaged – eBook, Audio, Video

2. What are the main benefits they will get from this product

1. What’s the end result your customers get – based on what they want

If you create your information product based on these 7 elements you’ll information product will sell.

Of course you need to have a salesletter where you explain all these elements. In this way you demonstrate to your prospects that the product fits their needs and then they BUY it.

So, if you didn’t know how to create an information product that sells now you know it. Then go ahead and start to create your information product but start RIGHT NOW!

Information Product – The Best Product To Sell

Why is it?

It is because people are always looking for information, they want to know things, they have problems and they want and immediate solution.

Basically it is about teaching how to do something, it could be how to make money online, how to feed your dog, how to sleep better, etc.

Just think about sites like Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Myspace. These are very popular sites and people go to these sites looking for information.

The best way to sell information products is selling a downloadable product. Of course it will cost you time and some dollars but you’ll see that it’s much cheaper to produce than physical products, and the margins can be very high because you can sell a million copies but your production cost is always the same (the cost of creating one product).

Once you have your information product (downloadable) ready to sell, you don’t have to create it again, you can sell the same product again and again. The customer have instant access to it and you don’t have to worry about shipping.

You can format it in Text (PDF), Audio (mp3), or Video. And if you want, you can combine these methods to cover all the modalities of learning, because not everybody learns in the same way.

If you don’t know how to format your product, just hire someone and give him/her the directions about how you want the product.

So, if you’re looking for a way to make money online, now you know that the best way is selling information products (downloadable). Then go ahead and create your information product RIGHT NOW!
