Reciprocal Testimonials

When it comes to Internet Marketing the importance of building relationships is tremendous, you have to create relationships with your subscribers in order to demonstrate who you are and sell more.

Also, it is important to build relationships with other marketers with the objective of exchanging ideas, experiences and creating joint ventures.

Sometimes these relationships become friendships…If you have been online for some months, you know how it works. You give your product to your friend for a review, he/she gives you his/her feedback and testimonial.

Then, when your friend create his/her product he/she send you the product and you give feedback and testimonial, you CAN’T say to your friend: “I am not going to give you my testimonial.” If you do this you’ll have a lot of doors closed and you’ll be part of the black list, out of the circle.

I do you a favor and you do me a favor. This is the reason why a lot of crap has been sold and is being sold online and many unethical marketers are making a lot of money.

I have seen the same testimonial for more than 4 products, made by an unique marketer. Does it make sense? NO.

There are exceptions, but in the 95% of the cases it works in this way.

My point is the following:

Do you believe in this kind of testimonials?

Do they have some value?

In my personal opinion they have no value and I never consider them when I have to make a decision…Whether buying a product or not.

Before buying anything, check out the testimonials very well to know if they are reciprocal testimonials or real testimonials. Trusting reciprocal testimonials could make you lose a lot of money.

When you create relationships or friendships with other marketers, you have to clarify that you are not going to play the game of the Reciprocal Testimonials, because it could damage your and his/her reputation.

If you want testimonials give your product to those that really need it and in exchange ask for an honest testimonial… Ask your customers!

Everybody has been a newbie, there is always a first time and if you have been there, you know how difficult it is to get started and be at the right spot if you don’t have someone that leads you.

During the years I have seen many newbies buying those products that promise a huge amount of money in a short period of time, example: “Make $10000 in 30 Days.”

My question is the following:

Have you ever bought this kind of products? If so, what are the results?

I touch this point because I continue to see newbies interested in these products. I am sure that these are scams, a waste of time and money, but nobody knows…

Please, feel free to share your Results And Experiences here, I think this can help many newbies to definitively understand this Internet Marketing world.

Thanks,

E-mail Messages – HTML vs Plain Text?

It is something that people are always asking when it comes to e-mail marketing – broadcast and follow up messages using autoresponders.

Some people disable HTML for their e-mails and that’s a problem if you send them your message only in HTML…Everybody can get plain text but not the same for HTML.

When you use plain text, you know that your message will be received and that’s an advantage.

Spam filters see some HTML codes as spam, it does not make sense but there is nothing to do, just use your autoresponder spam checker, to know the areas that are being caught by the filter or use an online spam checker.

I like to use HTML in my e-mail messages because it makes look the message different…It grabs attention better than plain text. It is possible to use graphics, blue links, colors, different fonts etc.

It is important to keep the spam score under 3, in this way the message will be received in the inbox and not in the bulk.

If you use an autoresponder, you can use plain text and HTML – dual format…Those that disable the HTML receive your message in plain text, while those that allow HTML receive the message in HTML.
