You Can Make Money Even If You Are Not An Expert

There is something that is blocking many people trying to start an online business in a specific niche, it is that they think that nobody is going to pay attention to them because they are not experts.

It is true that when you need help in a specific field you go for the experts, because they have experience and know a lot about that field.

But if you think that you have to be an expert to make money online and this is holding you back, you have to change your mindset immediately or you’ll never make money.

How are you going to make money from a niche if you do nothing? You must take action.

Those who are experts today were not experts when they started, nobody knew them at the beginning…They created their first product, then the second one, the third one and so on. And one day they discovered that the market was paying attention to them.

May be you are not an expert in that specific field but you have skills and knowledge. Then, you have to acquire experience to become an expert – that’s the reason why I recommend to start your business in a field where you have knowledge and you love.

You can make money even if you are not an expert, the point is to position yourself, therefore you have to use your skills and abilities.

The first step is to create a high quality product/service and allow people to get and use it for free…It can be a special report, a free consultation, etc. Remember to capture these people’s names and e-mail addresses and follow up them with high quality newsletters.

Give information, advice and tips for free, you can use forums, blogs, articles etc. You have to keep doing this work consistently.

Generally the experts’ products/services are expensive and not everybody can afford them. If you create your high quality product/service and sell it for a low price you can penetrate the market.

In this way you develop a presence on your market that can’t be ignore, your target market will begin to know you and talk about you. It is word of mouth and it is viral. You’ll see that your name will gain popularity and once you are popular people will pay more attention to you.

Understand that you have to penetrate the market, it is a progressive process and takes time, but you’ll achieve great results.

Put the fear and doubts to rest and start doing NOW if you really want to make money!

Why Your E-mail Messages Are Not Opened?

E-mail marketing is a powerful channel to leverage your business, but if your messages are not read then you are wasting your time.

Many people are complaining because their messages are not opened, therefore they don’t get results.

Most people do not open the e-mails because they are tired of tricks like this: Subjectline: Firstname, Happy Birthday, then the message has nothing to do with your birthday, it is only a trick to make you open the e-mail and offer you a crap product.

There are many other tricks that people use to make you open the e-mail, I am sure you know a lot of them, then when you receive a message with this kind of subjectline you don’t open it.

At the same time you identify those that use this strategy and in most cases instead of opening the message to cancel your subscription you delete it to save time.

On the other hand there are marketers that use to offer products and more products, beginning with the first message and this is the only thing they do. They don’t give useful information, they don’t help their subscribers, until one day their e-mails are not more opened.

There is something that you have to know and understand, and it is that your first message is crucial. It is almost always opened because your subscribers want to know you and what you have to say.

In your first message you have to create confidence with your subscribers, say who you are, your purpose and demonstrate that you are honest and want to help, that you really take care of them.

Don’t try to sell in your first message because it works only in a few cases, that’s a wrong approach and you could lose your subscriber.

Create a follow up e-mail campaign to keep in touch with your subscribers, continue helping and educating them and building relationships. At the end of the message with your signature place a link with the product that you are promoting – it is like your brand…In this way you are not directly proposing a product.

When your subscribers realize that you are really helping them to grow and that they can trust you, then and only then it is the right time to offer them directly products – I mean high quality products, not crap. You’ll see that you’ll have a very good conversion rate.

If you have created relationships and trust, you don’t have to brainstorm to create subjectlines, because in most cases when your subscribers see that the message is from you they don’t give importance to the subjectline and open the e-mail.

Put yourself in the shoes of your subscribers, think like a subscriber, then create your follow up e-mail campaign keeping in mind what a subscriber would like to receive.

How Can You Compete With Big Marketers?

In all businesses there is a small group of people that dominate the market. Even in tiny niches you’ll see that there is someone that is the leader and is doing better than the rest.

Many people don’t start to work a niche, even having the skills because they see that there is a high competition and think that they can’t compete with those that are dominating the niche.

If there is competition it means that there are people making money…If others can, then, you too can.

It is not easy, but you can compete with all these people and be at the top of the niche.

How do you do it?

Well, the leaders of a niche are making a lot of money and they invest part of their profits testing almost everything – products, ads, graphics, order forms etc.

You have to identify them and take advantage of their testing and you can do it for free. The only thing you have to do is, to “Spy” them to know the most popular products, what kind of ads are working better, the structure of their websites, how the sales letter is written, the incentive they use, etc.

Sign up for their newsletters to know what they say and how.

You have to know everything about your competitors, this is the only way that you have to be better than them.

Once you have analyzed all the elements of their businesses and found out how they work, you can adapt and incorporate them to yours.

Then, think how you can create a better business – more powerful ads, products, websites etc. Listen to the market to know what it wants and how…Make an irresistible and better offer.

The point is to know what is working and how to improve it. It will allow you to become a leader in your niche.
